It’s camp season! Registrations are now open across the country. Spring Camp provides children and youth with a variety of benefits and opportunities for personal growth. Our special edition guide presented by Frost Science Museum features a variety of options to choose from, such as science, cooking, sports, outdoors, and equestrian programs all in a safe and fun learning environment.

Campers will explore the museum, see a planetarium show, and engage in hands-on science experiments and activities. At our kid’s cooking Spring camp in Miami, we teach your children to eat healthy, develop or hone their cooking skills, experiment in the kitchen, improve math and reading skills … all in a fun way, while expanding their culinary palate. Some of the activities included in our exclusive and one of a kind kids’ cooking spring camp include cooking, baking, arts & crafts and much more. Celebrate the best Spring Break has to offer at the Deering Estate’s Spring Camp! Every camp has a different theme and explores a different aspect of nature, allowing campers to have fun while also learning about different fields of science. Campers will be getting hooked on the world of marine biology, and reeling in the fun while exploring our Mangrove Forests, Salt Marshes, and Seagrass Beds. Through dissections, experiments, crafts, and hikes, campers will be diving into a week of aquatic exploration to emerge as coastal defenders. Please bring lunch and snacks, refillable water bottle, closed-toe shoes, change of clothes, sunblock and bug spray, and hat and sunglasses.

Camps range from Miami Dade Park’s nationally recognized Fit2Play, designed to help children discover the fun in fitness and develop healthy habits for a lifetime, to specialized camps like Spring Fever at Zoo Miami, Deering Estate Spring Camp offering a marine biology experience, Junior Golf Spring Camps for the aspiring little golfer, and Miami EcoAdventures, a nature-based camp offering campers opportunities to perform scientific experiments, go on environmental field trips, and engage in activities in the great outdoors.
