Known for producing outstanding professional dancers, Dance Empire of Miami announces its summer dance programs designed for dance students ages 2 and up including three 3-week Summer Camp sessions and weekly Summer Intensives for advanced young dancers at the Dance Empire Studios.
Three Summer Camp Sessions are available: Disney Dreams for Ages 3/6 and Just Dance It for Ages 7/12, from June 10th to June 28th; Around the World for Ages 3/6 and Just Dance It for Ages 7/12, from July 1st to July 19th and Broadway Bound for Ages 3/6 and Just Dance It for Ages 7/12, from July 22nd to August 9th. Featuring classes in ballet, jazz, hip hop, tap, acro, and more, each session has a full day camp from 9 AM to 5 PM (with early drop-off and late pick up options available) and a Mini Camp option from 10 AM – 2 PM. Each 3-week Summer Camp session culminates in a show on the last day of each of the three-week sessions, “starring the campers,” with a grand finale performance at the end of the 9 weeks, on Friday, August 9th.
The Summer Intensives program, a series of weekly dance intensives for intermediate and pre-professional students, runs all summer from Tuesday, June 4th through Thursday, August 22nd. Classes are offered Mondays through Fridays from 10 AM – 2 PM or 4 PM – 8 PM with select intensives on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 AM – 2 PM. Offering classes in ballet, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, modern, tap and acro. The Summer Intensives are taught by an exceptional faculty including Master Hip Hop choreographer Tawanna Hall, whose many credits include Missy Elliot, Usher, P.Diddy and Justin Timberlake; renowned Ballet Coach Liana Navarro, who trained prima ballerinas Jeannette Delgado, Miami City Ballet, and Lilyan Vigo-Ellis, North Carolina Ballet; and, celebrate ballet and theater powerhouse, Tony Catanzaro, a former Boston Ballet Principal Dancer and alumni of the famed New York High School of Performing Arts, who has performed with Joffrey Ballet, and in Broadway productions such as “Annie Get Your Gun” with Ethel Merman, “Golden Boy” starring Sammy Davis, Jr. and “West Side Story.”

An award-winning choreographer and master dance teacher, Angel Fraser-Logan has two decades of experience in training top professional dancers in Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Tap, and Hip Hop. For twenty years, Dance Empire has produced top dancers who have worked with major companies and artists including Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Britney Spears and Janet Jackson.
